These aluminium poles/tubes are curved or bent to form an S-curve and are commonly used in applications to offset the mounting of external donor antennas from a wall with a roof overhang. The curved aluminium pole may, however, be used for any application where it is deemed necessary. It may also be called a cranked mast.
